There was so much going on this past weekend in San Diego, it was insane. From the Beach Blanket Bohemia event at Shaper Studios in North Park to charity events to races... there was really something for everyone.
Including beer drinkers.
But that probably goes without saying. With all the breweries in San Diego, there's rarely a month where there isn't some kind of beer festival. This past weekend, it happened to be Uncasked, at the UTC mall in San Diego.
We were invited to go and it really was an incredible event. $20 got you a glass, 10 pours from the 8 breweries that were there, free food, music and photobooth snaps from an adorable upcycled VW bus AND all the money went to support the SD Brewer's Guild.
Ryan and I had a blast. We used Sidecar, the newest ridesharing app to hit SD, to get there and drank to our hearts content. The pours were so big we couldn't even use up all of our tickets.

My favorite beer was the Witte Snake from Acoustic Ales, though I'm a little biased because they're my neighbors. Plus we got a sneak peak at their awesome label designs before they start bottling!
Priorities: catching the end of the UConn game while in line for Mother Earth Brewing Co
A perfect Saturday afternoon: wandering around a mall, drinking beer and enjoying the beautiful sunshine with Ryan. The icing on the cake? UConn won. :)
